The Hongxiang Cup-lock Scaffold Joint Sleeve is a vertically connected core pressure-bearing component, consisting of a seamless sleeve body, a bottom annular welded base, and rounded chamfered ends. It strictly adheres to the mandatory parameters of JGJ166: a total sleeve length of 160mm and a wall thickness of 3.5mm, compatible with Φ48 standard uprights. The bottom of the sleeve is permanently fixed to the upright using a closed-loop gas-shielded weld, and the base is widened to increase the fusion area. CNC-controlled inner and outer rounded chamfers at both ends of the sleeve eliminate sharp edges to prevent scratching the galvanized layer of the upright. The inner diameter of the sleeve is precisely calibrated, and the gap between it and the outer wall of the upright is consistently controlled within 2mm, meeting the specification limits. During erection, the upper end of the lower upright extends into the lower half of the sleeve, and the upper upright inserts into the upper half of the sleeve.

The two layers of pipe walls engage synchronously, and the load is transmitted vertically along the axis without eccentric offset. The inner wall of the sleeve is smooth and burr-free, with a minimum insertion depth of 110mm, forming a double-layer pressure-bearing structure, serving as a fundamental component for the vertical stability of full-span scaffolding and bridge supports.

Core Features of Cup-lock Scaffold Joint Sleeve: Thickened Seamless Steel Pipe Base Material: The raw material is selected from national standard Q235 seamless steel pipe, with wall thickness meeting standards and no negative tolerances, rejecting thin welded pipes and recycled materials. Low-priced sleeves on the market have a wall thickness of less than 3mm, leading to pipe wall indentation and weld tearing under heavy loads during pouring; our seamless pipes have continuous metal fibers, improving extrusion and bending resistance by 40%. After thousands of axial pressure fatigue tests, the Cup-lock Scaffold Joint Sleeve shows no plastic deformation and no weld cracking, making it suitable for ultra-high full-span formwork up to 30 meters and long-term static heavy-load conditions on bridges. Each batch of steel pipes comes with a material report; tensile and compressive strength are randomly inspected upon arrival at the factory, and substandard raw materials are directly recycled.

Fully Automated Circumferential Welding Forming Characteristics: The sleeve base is completely welded around the upright, achieving the required penetration depth without slag inclusions, incomplete welds, or missed welds. Manual single-point spot welding of sleeves, under long-term transport, impacts, and reciprocating loads, results in weld detachment and instantaneous slippage of the upright joint. Our factory's automated special-purpose machine welds and then uniformly straightens the upright, minimizing coaxiality error and ensuring vertical load transfer, eliminating the risk of localized crushing of the pipe wall on one side. Standards require upright joints to be staggered by more than 500mm; our standard sleeves, paired with 0.6m modular uprights, allow for easy staggered joints of varying lengths, avoiding the risk of concentrated stress on the same cross-section.

Precise Gap Limiting and Engaging Characteristics: The Cup-lock Scaffold Joint Sleeve's inner diameter is CNC-calibrated uniformly, ensuring a gap of ≤2mm with the upright, resulting in no significant wobbling after insertion. Ordinary non-standard sleeves have excessive gaps, causing the uprights to tilt and resulting in eccentric stress and uneven settlement of the scaffold. This product features a double-layer interlocking design, with the upper and lower uprights simultaneously embedding into the sleeve, maximizing the contact area and preventing slippage at the joints even under concrete vibration and strong winds. The rounded chamfers at both ends ensure smooth insertion and removal of the uprights, preventing jamming and scratching of the plating.

70μm full-part hot-dip galvanized corrosion protection: The sleeve's inner and outer walls and welds undergo a complete closed-loop process of degreasing, pickling, hot-dip galvanizing, and passivation, leaving no uncoated areas. Even after long-term use in coastal salt spray, high-humidity tunnels, and northern snowmelt environments, the pipe walls and welds will not rust, thin, or rust, preventing stick jamming. Cold-sprayed sleeves rust and enlarge holes after only six months of use, resulting in insufficient interlocking and a significant decrease in load-bearing capacity. This product meets neutral salt spray test standards, and its mechanical properties show no significant decline after 5 years of cyclic use.

Cup-lock Scaffold Joint Sleeve Application Scenarios:

Factories and Basements: Large-span, full-span formwork: Multi-layered long uprights are segmented and extended, with double-layer sleeves bearing heavy concrete loads, preventing upright slippage and sinking throughout the pouring process.

1

High-Rise Residential Buildings: Double-row exterior wall scaffolding: Multi-segmented uprights with permanent sleeve positioning resist vertical pull from strong winds at high altitudes, ensuring overall verticality of the scaffolding meets standards.

2

Cast-in-place Box Girder and Pier Bridge Support: Continuous heavy loads exposed to the elements for dozens of days; hot-dip galvanizing prevents rain and corrosion; multiple spans can be continuously reused without replacing uprights.

3

Subway and Underground Utility Tunnel Temporary Support: Underground spaces are often damp and humid; the zinc coating isolates moisture, significantly reducing the frequency of safety inspections in confined spaces.

4

Overseas Coastal Projects in Russia, Turkey, and Indonesia: Long-term corrosion protection in high-salt, cold climates, meeting overseas formwork component testing standards.
